Patuxay Arc de Triomphe

Located on Sethathirath road, near Lane Xang Avenue, Wat Sisaket was built in 1818 by King Chao Anou with Siamese Buddhist architecture. Wat Sisaket impresses visitors by the corridor with walls decorated with more than 2000 Buddha images made of copper, precious wood, ceramics, gold and silver. The total number of Buddha statues at the temple are up to 6,840

Located at the eastern corner of the intersection between Lane Xang Street and Khu Vieng Street, this market opens from 7 A.M to 4 P.M. This is an attractive spot in the capital of Laos. In the market, there are many small shops, restaurants, fruits and vegetable stalls, jeweler stalls, silk, handicrafts, musical instrument. This is an ideal place for visitors to buy lovely souvenirs for their friends and families.
