Visa is an important type certificated by the State government for foreigners who want to come to the country. Normally, visa is granted by certificating on passports. In Vietnam, Vietnam Visa is given to foreigners who belong to one of these types.

Vietnam Visa on Arrival

1 . Tourist Visa: valid 30 days from the date of entry, usually granted to tourists, entitled to one entry and exit through the international border, and extended if there is good reasons.

2 . Business Visa: valid from 90 days to 180 days from the date of entry, usually granted to foreigners seeking business or investment opportunity, having right to enter and exit repeatedly through international border, extended if there is good reasons.

3 . Temporary Residence Permit: valid for one year from the date of entry, usually granted to foreigners who work permanently or invest, having right of entry at the international border, extended if there is good reasons.

Visa Vietnam Entry is granted at the Vietnam diplomatic and consular representatives in overseas. In some cases of having no Vietnam diplomatic missions, consular in the country, visitors can get visas at the border with the invitation from the competent authorities in Vietnam or travel under tours organized by the Vietnam international Travel company.

Vietnam Visa requirements :

* Application for pre-printed entry (forms may vary according to diplomatic missions, consulars of Vietnam in foreign countries). There are two forms: one form for foreigners and another for Vietnam residing abroad. Guests need to fill fully and accurately the required items.

* Two 4x6 or 3x4 photos .

* Original Passport

* Visa fee

Some countries receive visa exemption (valid from 15 days to 30 days) including: Citizens of countries signing bilateral agreements with Vietnam: Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Laos, or a citizen of Japan, South Korea. To go to work or travel in Vietnam, you need a visa granted by the Embassy or Consular of Vietnam in your country or issued by competent authorities in the Vietnam's border gates or Vietnam visa from the 3rd countries.
