Vietnam Airlines news on Singapore Airshow 20142668
According to VN Airlines, in February 11th, the Singapore Airshow 2014 was officially inaugurated. The event was held at the Changi Exhibition Centre (CEC). This year, Tinh Te Vietnam attended the exhibition for the first time to show some interesting information about the field of aviation technology.
Singapore Airshow Exhibition which is also known as Changi International Airshow is one of the largest air and defense show in the world. It is held every two years. The event was launched by the cooperation of many Singapore organization including the Committee of Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore and Defence Science & Technology Agency of Singapore. The Changi Exhibition Center includes an indoor hall with an area of 40000 m2, an air-conditioning system and an outdoor exhibition area of 100000 m2
The first exhibition was opened in 2008 from 19th to 24th in February. Beside the exhibition, the event also reintroduced the aircraft performances by Singapore Air Force and the Royal Australian Air Force. The exhibition also includes a symposium on space technology, aerospace and defense solutions,
According to Airlines VN, In 2010, the exhibition was held from 2th to 7th February with the participation of over 800 companies from 40 countries. More than 60 international companies took part in the exhibition such as Boeing, EADS , Honeywell , Lockheed Martin , Northrop Grumman and Rolls - Royce . Mitsubishi Aircraft , Liebherr - Aerospace , B / E Aerospace. The exhibition in 2010 also welcomed many aerospace companies from Asia.
In 2012, the exhibition was held from 14th January to 19th February with the theme Big Show, Big Opportunities, The number of companies is up to 9000 from 50 countries such as Boeing, Airbus, Embraer, and Bombardier. The Singapore Airshow this year took place from 11th to 16th February. Tinh Te was available in Singapore to attend the opening ceremony in CEC.
The exhibition also offers many development chances for Vietnamese Airlines such as Airlines VN, Vietjet Air and Vietnam aviation sector.
